Tokyo Between Stations
Tokyo: Between Stations is a street photography series shot entirely on my Fujifilm X100VI, documenting the overlooked spaces beneath the city where movement slows, and people reveal themselves between destinations.
From dimly lit subway corridors to underground bars near major stations, the series captures fleeting encounters, solitude, and tension in Tokyo’s late night rhythm.
Working close and unobtrusive, the X100VI allowed for raw, unfiltered moments in low light preserving the atmosphere as it exists, not as it’s staged.
This is Tokyo in transit. Not arrival. Not departure. Just the space in between.
