Driven by passion

Street photography isn’t something I do when I travel it’s what pulls me outside every day.

I shoot instinctively. No staging, no planning just real moments as they happen. What matters to me is honesty. Images that feel quiet but heavy, and stay with you longer than expected. That’s what GRITLINE stands for: truth over perfection.

I was born and raised in Birmingham, UK, and now live in northern Germany. Although I always had a camera, it wasn’t until 2019 that I fully stepped into street photography. In 2020, I moved into the Fujifilm X Series and now shoot with the Fujifilm X100VI, using my custom GLASS GRIT recipe.

You’ll often find me in Southeast Asia where the streets either pull you in completely or lose you in the chaos. That’s where I feel most connected to the work.

Respect is a big part of how I shoot. Not every moment is easy, but that tension is part of the reality I capture.

This is my path building something real through photography. My work is available here, and my first photo book is on the way.
